Transformation of sentence:
Transformation শব্দটির অর্থ রূপান্তর বা পরিবর্তন । Transformation of sentenceএ রঅর্থ হল কোন sentence বা বাক্যের ব্যাকরণগত রূপ পরিবর্তন করে অন্য কোন structure এর রূপ দেয়া। এ রূপান্তর দু’রকম হতে পারে -অর্থগত, রূপগত । Sentenceএর ব্যাকরণ কত রূপ পরিবর্তন করতে গিয়ে যদি তার অর্থ পরিবর্তন ঘটে তবে এরূপ পরিবর্তনকে conversion of sentence বলা হয়। Transformation of sentence বলতে অর্থগত দিক অপরিবর্তিত রেখে sentence এর রূপগত পরিবর্তনকে বোঝায়।

Transformation of simple complex and compound sentence
Simple: যে sentence একটি মাত্রsubject ও একটিfinite verb থাকে simple sentence বলে (a sentence having a subject and a finite verb is a simple sentence)

Complex: যেsentence একটিprincipal (main )clause এবং এক বা একাধিক and subordinate clause থাকে তাকেcomplex sentence বলে ( hA sentenceaving a principal class and on almost sub-ordinate classes is a complex sentence. )

Compound: যে sentence এ একাধিকprinciple class থাকে এবং তারা coordinating conjunction দাঁড়া যুক্ত হয় তাকেcompound sentence বলে।(A sentence having more than on principle class connected with coordinating conjunctions is a compound sentence)

From simple into complex sentence
- Rule 1: simple sentence কি যোদি subject +vt plus object +present participle যুক্ত থাকেেে তাহলে সেটিকে complex করতে হলে-
- Present participle এর পূর্ববর্তী বাক্যাংশ অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।
- Object এরপরthat,which,when, who ইত্যাদিrelative pronoun বসে।
- Finite verb এরtense অনুযায়ীto ve verb বসে
- Present participle এর পরবর্তী অংশ অপরিবর্তে থাকে।

From simple into compound sentence
Rule 1 : too+adj+ to যুক্ত simple sentence কে compound করতে হলে-
- Too এর স্থলে very বসবে
- Adjective এরপর দুটি principal clause এর মাঝখানে conjunction হিসাবে so বা therefore বসবে।
- Conjunction এরপর আবার subjectবসবেto উঠে যাবে এবং tense অনুযায়ী cannot/couldnot বসবে।
Example:
The patient is too weak to walk.
the patient is very week so he cannot work.
I was too busy to go there.
I was very busy therefore I could not go there.

Transformation of assertive sentence into exclamatory
Rule 1: assertive sentence এর শুরুতে interrogative adjective ‘what’ and interrogative adverb ‘how’ exclamatory sentence গঠন করা হয়। এক্ষেত্রে very বা great উঠে যায়।

Transformation of of assertive sentence into interrogative
Assertive sentence টি যদি affirmative থাকে তাহলে সেটা কে negative এ পরিনত করতে হয় interrogative এ পরিনত করতে হয়। এক্ষেত্রেto be verb যুক্ত অথবাcan/ could /should /would যুক্ত sentence এর pattern হয় নিম্নরূপ
